State PatchesAll US state patches are available in three designs. Rectangle flag patches, shield patches and the hard to find round state seal patches. Also available is the Washington DC flag patch. Each rectangle and shield patch is embroidered with gold edging. You can iron on or sew on. Approximate dimensions of the state flag patches are as follows: rectangle patches- 3.5" x 2.25 inches, round state seal patches - 3" diameter. The state shield patches are different sizes for some of the state designs. Some are 2.75" x 3.5" and others are 3 1/8" x 3 1/2".
